McDonald’s (ACM)
Produce, concept, and develop ad campaigns for McDonald’s targeting the Asian American consumers.
Working closely with Chicago based agency, We Are Unlimited, I along with close partnership with the Account lead, was responsible for all McDonald’s campaigns targeting the Asian Consumer Market (ACM). Within 6 months myself and my newly built super talented small team produced over 10 integrated campaigns that spanned TV to digital to brand activations. Together as a team of 3-6 people, we managed to keep pace with agencies that had 100 times the people and resources. That i’m proud of what we’ve done is an understatement.
We produced TV and integrated campaigns that stemmed from a specific Asian-led insight. Then working with top notch directors and post production companies we were able to deliver stories that were relevant, impactful, and had high production value. At times these were original ideas, and production, at other times pure adaptions, or shadow shoots. Since we were translating into several languages we had to work within constraints such as no on screen dialog.
